Book Reviews

Your book has been a lot of fun to read together and I have really enjoyed sharing the adventure with Sam.

His first comment after Chapter Four was, "That's what I've always wanted to do. I've always wanted to go on an adventure." When we finished the last chapter, he said, "I loved it, I absolutely loved it. I loved the part about the dragon and the part about the witch, because I sneeze a lot. I loved it because it was magical and interesting, and I love adventures and I can't wait to read the next one."

I bought 'The Doofuzz Dudes Rescue Moondar' for my son, Nathan. Then my husband and I both read it. What a cracker!!!

Now we are persuading Nathan to get stuck into it!!
I must say it is up there with the best.   The book is really quite something.
I am now looking forward to reading the other books as well.

I enjoyed the book very very much, and you did a wonderful job.  I would rate the book five out of five.  In your book you wrote a lot about magic, and I love magic.  While I was reading the book I was imagining the things the boys were doing.  I am looking forward to reading your other fantastic and incredible books."

This Saturday is Toby Doofuzz’s birthday but what if the school bully, Howard Soured, steals most of the invitations and one person’s sick? What would you do? The other friends of Toby, Tom Halfweed and William Mumford, Toby’s brother, Huon, and Toby go on a treasure hunt (it’s made of chocolate) at the Knoll, using a metal detector, his mum gave as a present. But what if Howard finds all the chocolate treasure? Howard’s gang chases the Doofuzz dudes into Smuggler’s Cave where they find great treasures. The spell book and a royal crown! They also meet the Moondarians. They send the dudes on a perilous quest to Moondar. But they encounter dragons, giants, and evil attacking geese and the powerful overlord Prince Florian. It’s one huge adventure you won’t want to miss!
